Job Description:
Red Hat is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join the Software Applications Validation Engineering Team.
As a Software Engineer, the candidate has the opportunity to look for challenges in facilitating easy application development and even refine existing code-bases to help them scale across the complexities of deployment.
Required Skills & Experience:
--> 0-2 years of experience in data driven application/service development (preferably on Linux).
--> Strong knowledge of MySQL (including system architecture).
--> Knowledge of scripting languages: Python/Bash/Perl/Ruby.
--> Understanding of statistical data processing (preferred).
--> Knowledge of algorithms and optimization.
--> Familiarity with NoSQL artifacts (Hadoop, CouchDB etc) is a plus.
