The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode invites application from candidates having the required skills and fulfills requirement as laid down, for the post of Chief Manager – Brand & Hospitality Management on contract initially for a period of two years and extendable on the basis of performance.

Qualification and Experience:
MBA/PGDM in Marketing/HR/Brand Management or Degree in Hotel Management or any Post Graduate Degree with relevant experience, from reputed Institute / University in India / abroad. It is highly desirable that the person should have minimum 20 years relevant experience either in a reputed Hospitality Industry having experience in all
verticals such as Front Office / F&B Operations, Housekeeping etc or relevant experience of Hospitality and Brand Management in a B-School /Educational Institution/ Industry / Government Organization. Preferably 05 years must be at HOD / senior level.
The incumbent would be required to propel the name of the Institute to position it to greater heights, setting standards and delivering state of the art hospitality & facility management to the participants attending short and long term courses in the Institute.
The person would be required to evolve steps to provide effective logistic support to the changing needs of students and participants from the Corporate / Industry.
Should be a dynamic go-getter and display the necessary character, leadership skills and the requisite passion for quality output.
Age Group Desired:
45-55 Years. (In exceptional cases the age and experience would be relaxed)
Pay Package:
Rs 50,000 per month which may vary commensurate to qualification and relevant experience.

General Instructions:
1. The Chief Manager- Brand & Hospitality reports to the CAO and is responsible to -Manage assigned tasks and ensures organizational policies, procedures, and standards are kept to International levels.
2. Performs as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective interfaces and integration of activities with other Departments.Helps augment the image of IIMK to propel it to standards of global reckoning.
3. General Administration of the complete MDP complex in terms of getting the best out of the staff for managing the upkeep, security, food and hospitality of the guests residing in the complex.Monitors and administers to bring up the Canteen/Restaurant
4. The Institute faculty base comprises of guest, adjunct, visiting and regular faculty. Experienced guest faculty are usually drawn from industry to provide critical insights on a particular topic/issue in a course or a programme. The core strength
5. who provide specialised support. Many of whom have been associated with the Institute for several years now. There is a regular flow of faculty from leading foreign
institutions. The Institute aims to have a faculty mix of 70% regular and 30% adjunct/visiting in various programmes. The composition of faculty from foreign institutions may be up to 10%, to bring global experience and perspective.

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is on a high growth trajectory today, offering widest range of academic programmes in the field of management education.Starting in 1997 with a batch of 42 students in its Postgraduate Programme (PGP) , it increased PGP intake to 120 in 2003, to 180 in 2005, to 261 in 2008 and to 319 in 2010, thus making it the fastest growing management school in the country to reach that landmark.
